Unframed works typically ship within 1–2 business days in archival-safe packaging. Framed works are hand-assembled to order and require up to two weeks before dispatch. Tracking is provided once the order has been released for shipment.
Returns and cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase. If your work arrives damaged, contact us and we will repair, replace where possible, or resolve the issue at no cost.
Shoe
Made in Monte Carlo in 1983, Shoe reduces Newton's world to one charged detail: a single stilettoed foot treated as a sculptural object.
The photograph is minimal, but not slight. Newton isolates the foot and shoe until the fragment carries the whole language of fashion, fetish, posture, and control. A single object becomes enough: heel, angle, tension, balance. It is the vocabulary of his larger pictures compressed into one sharp form.
Desire reduced to a single object.
In Newton's hands, the detail does not feel secondary. It becomes the subject.
