Published in Playboy in June 2005, Tiffany Fallon: Playmate of the Year 2005 is a whimsical pinup portrait by Stephen Wayda, created for Fallon's reign as Playmate of the Year. Reclining across a white crescent moon against a star-scattered sky, Fallon becomes a modern revival of the classic mid-century pinup.
The magazine cast Fallon in the lineage of dark-haired screen beauties and classic pinup figures, with echoes of Elizabeth Taylor and Bettie Page running through the feature. Her Playmate of the Year pictorial leaned into that retro spirit through a series of playful, theatrical setups. This crescent-moon image is the most iconic of them: a clean, graphic fantasy conceived by Wayda and West Coast Photo Editor Marilyn Grabowski as pure pinup mythology.
Fallon reflected on what the honor meant to her:
My life has changed completely since I've done this.
In Tiffany Fallon: Playmate of the Year 2005, she reclines along the inner curve of a large white crescent moon, nude but for delicate jeweled high-heeled sandals, one arm raised above her head, dark hair falling loose. The deep blue starfield and glowing moon frame her body in a bright, theatrical composition: playful, elegant, and unmistakably rooted in the grand pinup tradition.
Photographed by Wayda, modeled by Fallon, and preserved within the Playboy Legacy Collection, the work is part of the forty-eight-print archival edition released for Playboy's 50th anniversary.

The Playboy Legacy Collection was released in 2007 for the magazine's 50th anniversary as a forty-eight-print archival edition curated under the direction of Hugh Hefner. Each print is embossed with the archive seal bearing the Playboy Bunny mark and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
