Angie Everhart
Published in Playboy in February 2000, Angie Everhart is a full-length study of the model and actress, photographed by veteran fashion photographer Marco Glaviano against a dramatic dusky sky. Everhart made fashion history as the first redhead on the cover of Glamour, and that signature red becomes part of the image's force.
By her late teens, Everhart had appeared across major fashion magazines before moving into acting. Glaviano, who came to photography from architecture, photographed her at the height of that crossover moment: model, actress, and unmistakable presence. When Everhart told her grandmother about the pictorial, she framed the decision simply.
I was going to take beautiful pictures.
In Angie Everhart, she stands full-length against a deep purple twilight, arms raised and crossed above her head, long red hair streaming sideways in the wind. Shot from below, the composition stretches her height into a single vertical line of oiled skin, movement, and sky. The result is less a studio nude than a glamour image staged against the atmosphere itself.
Photographed by Glaviano, modeled by Everhart, and preserved within the Playboy Legacy Collection, the work is part of the forty-eight-print archival edition released for Playboy's 50th anniversary.

The Playboy Legacy Collection was released in 2007 for the magazine's 50th anniversary as a forty-eight-print archival edition curated under the direction of Hugh Hefner. Each print is embossed with the archive seal bearing the Playboy Bunny mark and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
