Angie Harmon

Photographed in West Hollywood in 2013, this portrait places Angie Harmon against a stark white studio field, her body low to the ground and turned away from the camera as she looks back over her shoulder. Red and blue heels, a fine chain, and the clean sweep of bare skin make the image graphic before it becomes glamorous.

White keeps the picture almost spare: white floor, white wall, a long diagonal pose, and a single block of dark hair anchoring the composition. The color is concentrated in the shoes and small accents, so the eye moves from line to gesture to the sitter's direct return of the gaze.

A white-field portrait built from poise, bare line, and one sharp look back.

The strength of the image is in its control. Harmon is photographed with the polish of a fashion sitting, but the pose reads as sculptural, a study in balance, length, and tension rather than a conventional celebrity portrait.

Collection Note

An archival pigment print on Canson Platine Fibre Rag, hand-signed by the artist and issued as an editioned Artist Proof, accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
